Yesterday we heard a special missions report on the work "The Extreme Balloon Man" is doing with children in Maryland. Thanks for your generous investment and prayers for Steve and Marilyn Gambrill. We heard the message "Renewal by Nehemiah" as we continued our series "God Held Captive". God is doing some amazing things in and through the JCC Family. People are coming to know Jesus and growing in His grace. If you were unable to join us in Worship yesterday you can access the message on our website jccag.org after Wednesday and/or call the office and order to free CD.
This coming Sunday October 1 at 8:45 & 11am my message will be "Held Captive to the Family". We will worship and receive communion together. The children will then go to the gym for Children's Ministries. Remember to bring your Missions Offering and "My 2 Cents Offering" for the children. At 6pm we will have our Monthly Healing Gathering with special guest speaker Jeremiah Hembree, Royal Rangers Missionary. BTL Youth and JCC Kidz will also be in session.
At 8pm we will have our "We are the People" intercession for America that meets in the Sanctuary. Get in the rhythm of prayer that is changing the heart of the nation. If you cannot meet with us here at JCC please try to invest a minimum of 15 minutes between 6 and 9pm Sunday evening following the wearethepeople.me website or using the insert in the Sunday bulletin.

A big 'Thank You' to our willing and able volunteers. This week some great people helped out in so many ways to make our special events possible: the Lamb's Center meals for the homeless; Seniors Lunch & Life Gathering; the "Extreme Balloon Man" Back to School outreach; Ladies "Pumps, Pearls and Pie" get together and other "growing and showing" ministries would never be possible except for your wonderful servant hearts. Together we are fulfilling the call to "Love People to Life" with these events and outreach opportunities.
Also a big thanks for praying as I continue to recover from the extreme vertigo that hit me recently. I know that God will bring total deliverance. He is the "God that healeth thee" and He is faithful. Also thanks to those who sent cards, texts, emails and encouraging phone calls. They meant so much.
